The City of Branson executed a contract with Olsson Associates for construction management of the 76 revitalization program on August 23, 2016. Olsson Associates is a nationally-recognized, employee-owned firm that has been creating public and private projects throughout the United States since 1956. With over 1,000 employees and offices in Springfield, Joplin and Kansas City (plus 27 more offices in six other states), Olsson has the ability to provide a wide range of services and expertise in-house via one point of contact. In Branson, Todd Chandler PE will be the on-site construction phase manager who will work and reside in the community full time. Chandler has previously managed a $2.3 billion transportation project in Houston and $80 million dollars’ worth of infrastructure projects in Joplin.
In addition, the City of Branson hired Jim Martin as the 76 Revitalization Program Manager on June 20, 2016. Most recently, he oversaw a $1.2 billion project containing over two million square feet of highly-secure office space for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Arlington, VA known as “the Pentagon South.” Martin has called Branson home since 1992 and has worked previously as the Construction Consultant for the City of Branson, responsible for overseeing the publicly-funded infrastructure portion of Branson Landing.
